When should I get my ears checked?
Its a good idea to have your ears checked annually. You should also book if you are having any pain or discomfort or notice you are struggling to hear as well as you used too. We also recommend having ears checked before you fly to avoid discomfort whilst on holiday or travelling for work. You can book an appointment here.
What treatments do you offer?
All visits start with an ear health check. We will show you the inside of your ear via our camera and recommend any ear wax removal treatment you need. If agreeable to you we and we are bale we aim to treat you at the same visit. If you need different treatment we will be able to suggest whether you should see your G.P or an ENT specialist. If we treat you we will remove ear wax using one of the three treatment mentods we offer. More info can be found on this site.
Are there any risks?
There are risks with any procedure, however microsuction is one of the safest forms of ear wax removal and all risks will be explained to you before any treatment is provided. The most common risks are tinnitus, trauma to the ear canal or eardrum, perforation of the eardrum and infection.
Can a friend attend with me?
Yes - of course they can. We are happy for you to bring someone along if you are nervous or have additional needs.
Do I use ear drops before attending?
Yes please. Treating you ears with over the counter ear drops for 3 days before you visit will help soften an wax and make successful treatment more likley at your first visit.
Do you have disabled access?
Most of our locations, have disabled access but please contact us before booking to ensure we treat you at a suitbale venue. Please use the ‘Contact Us’ form.
Does treatment hurt?
No - not normally. however ears are sensitive and treatment may feel uncomfortable. If you have a lot of wax removed the ear can feel sensitive for a couple of days after. If you are unsure about symptons post treatment please call us and we will be happy to help.
Does Wax Come Back?
It can. We will discuss follow up checks with at your appointment. Checks can be required every 3, 6, 9 or 12 months depending on your needs.
What do I do if I have a complaint?
Please contact us in the first instance using the Contact Us form opposite. We will send an initial reply within 24 hours.
How much does it cost?
Ear Health checks from just £25. If you have no wax there is no further charge. Wax removal is charged per ear and follow up visits to complete treatments are free of charge. A full price list is available on this site.
How soon can I be seen?
We offer appointments most days of the week and if you are flexible about which of our clinics you attend we can normally see you within 48 hours. A full list of our clinics and appointments are on this site and appointments can be booked here.

What happens if I am late?
If you are running late please try and call on the number provided on your booking form. We will still do our best to see you on the day but in exceptional circumstances you will need to rebook. When rebooking no refunds can be given for missed appointments.
I need to cancel?
Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled via the link sent to you upon booking. Full refunds can be given if 48 hours notice is received. A 50% refund will be given for appointments cancelled with 24 hours notice. No refund can be given with less than 24 hours notice. Appointments can be rescheduled with no extra charge.
What if I dont have wax?
You will only pay for an ear health check and we will offer advice and refer you to other services if you have pain or discomfort.
